Compost

We accumulate large amounts of vegetable material from our agricultural processes that we put to good use, incorporating the material back into the soil.  This way we promote the circular economy, recycling nutrients and microorganisms into the soil, enriching the soil with life, improving soil structure, and creating more sustainability.

Photovoltaic System

With our three photovoltaic plants we generate 700KW/h. Enough energy is produced to meet the requirements for irrigating our orchards, as well as for our selection and packaging process.

Technical irrigation

Water management is an absolute priority.  Our principal objective is to irrigate as efficiently as possible with current technology.  To achieve this goal all our orchards are irrigated by technical irrigation.  The irrigation system is equipped with sensors and devices that monitor the plant´s demand for water, the amount of water that is being provided, and the amount of water that is actually being used by the tree, thereby achieving maximum efficiency.  All the readings/measurements are transmitted in real time by telemetry and automation using information from our own meteorological stations, soil humidity probes, trial pits, and sensors that measure the tree’s osmotic pressure.
